Event Details

The final performance of the 2016/17 season! When Mendelssohn originally created the score of Elijah his intention was to produce intensely dramatic scenes of through music. Composed in the spirit of his predecessors Bach and Handel, Mendelssohn inadvertently displays his genius though his own unique style and opens the door for our featured virtuosos to truly shine throughout the concert. You will delight in special appearances by the ISU Concert Choir and the pure joy that accompanies the sound of our Camerata Singers.
